INTUITIVE

Casual riding on the road

Comfortable seating position, ideal frame geometry and an intelligent motion sensor on the front-wheel motor system make our ScooterTrike FM a comfortable and casual companion. The e-recumbent tricycle impresses above all with its easy, intuitive operability and ensures amazing manoeuvrability despite its 16-inch front wheel. Equipped with an Ansmann front-wheel motor, it does not take much power to make good progress. This is because the motion sensor does not depend on the force applied, but only on the rotation of the crank, following the motto: hop on and ride off. This makes our ScooterTrike FM an ideal model for beginners. Good to know: This model is also available without electric motor. Take a look at our ScooterTrike.

Conveniently always everything in view

Our ScooterTrike FM is designed for those who like to be comfortable. The large seat can be quickly and easily adjusted in height and inclination. This ensures a relaxed seating position from which the traffic situation can be easily viewed at all times. To stop, simply take one foot off the pedal and reach the ground while seated.

FAQ

This feeling is not uncommon, nor is it rare. You share this problem with most people who otherwise ride or have ridden a bicycle in the past – regardless of age or handicap. "Blame" it on your sense of balance, which has been trained to keep your balance while riding a bike. This ability, which is so necessary for riding a bicycle, is not required for riding a tricycle or often proves to be a hindrance. Similar to driving a car, weight shifting is not required when cornering. You don't have to lean into the curve if you want to go around the corner. Instead, you simply steer in the direction you want to go – which is exactly how it is with the tricycle. You don't think you can do it? Try to remember how you already rode a tricycle as a small child. Toddlers can usually ride a tricycle without any problems before learning to ride a bike. For them, the tricycle takes over the balance, they don't know it any other way, have no reservations about it and can therefore move around safely. To give you the confidence you need, we offer helpful support in the form of a video and a detailed guide. More here

No, you do not need it, because – unless otherwise requested – we deliver all vehicles only in combination with pedal assistance. This means that the electric motor only provides assistance when you actively pedal. A speed higher than 6 km/h is not possible without pedal assistance (so-called pedelec system) and is therefore not subject to a driving licence or insurance.

This varies and depends on the equipment of the therapy and special bikes. You can get more information about our prices from our support dealers or your local dealer. Here  you can find dealers near you.

Our products are primarily sold through bicycle dealers and medical supply stores. You will receive particularly good and intensive advice from our support dealers. Compared to the shop around the corner, they always have at least one vehicle in stock in the showroom for inspection and a test ride. You can find a support dealer near you with the help of our dealer search. There you will be shown all dealers within a radius of 50 km. Simply enter your city or your respective postal code.
